Q Christina Byrnes Wampler (she/they) is an up-and-coming adult dark fantasy author with a graphic design background. Based in Colorado, she writes adult fantasy romance that offers a wide range of diversity, with characters of every sexuality and stories meant to resonate across the spectrum. 

Although she is gay herself, Q’s debut series features a bisexual male—a creative challenge she tackled with both research and curiosity. Her goal? To bridge the divide between LGBTQ+ narratives and mainstream fantasy romance by creating a space where LGBTQ+ and straight readers alike can see themselves reflected in the same page-turning epic.

Driven by an obsessive reading habit and a hunger to be one of the greats in her genre, Q blends political undercurrents, dynamic characters, and inclusive worldbuilding into stories that feel both familiar and radically new. Her debut dark fantasy duology is the first in what she hopes will be a long line of bold, beautiful, boundary-blurring books.
