Q Christina Byrnes Wampler (she/they) is an up-and-coming adult dark fantasy author with a graphic design background. Based in Colorado, she writes adult fantasy romance that offers a wide range of diversity, with characters of every sexuality and stories meant to resonate across the spectrum. 

Although she is gay herself, Q’s debut series features a bisexual male—a creative challenge she tackled with both research and curiosity. Her goal? To bridge the divide between LGBTQ+ narratives and mainstream fantasy romance by creating a space where LGBTQ+ and straight readers alike can see themselves reflected in the same page-turning epic.

Driven by an obsessive reading habit and a hunger to be one of the greats in her genre, Q blends political undercurrents, dynamic characters, and inclusive worldbuilding into stories that feel both familiar and radically new. Her debut romantasy duology is the first in what she hopes will be a long line of bold, beautiful, boundary-blurring books.
